BOOK CLUB:  St. Mark’s Book Club holds its next meeting 1pm Thursday, December 11 in the Fellowship Room. The club will discuss Comfort and Joy by Kristin Hannah. FOOD MINISTRY SUNDAY IS NOVEMBER 2:  Because of the uncertainties happening in both state and federal governments, now more than ever, thank you for your continued help with our food ministries! Our next Food Ministry Sunday is November 2. The Howard Food Bank accepts food donations that help keep families fed in our area. ALLEGHENY SYNOD PREPARES TO ELECT NEW BISHOP:  The 2025 Allegheny Synod Assembly is October 31-November 1 at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona. During that time, voting members will vote for a new bishop of the synod. Please pray for our synod and anyone who is considering a call to be the next bishop.
